Chase's 1st Birthday Party

I can’t believe our little one is already a year old! It just seemed like yesterday that we knew we were having Chase, and right after his birthday party, he took his first few steps. I still remember the app saying that he was the size of a poppyseed and then an avocado and then it got larger and larger… at 28.5 inches and 21 lbs, it’s incredible how much they grow in a year.

Chase’s first birthday party was at Circus Play Cafe on July 14th, 2019. It was a llama + cactus theme, with tons of balloons, cause kids just love balloons and Chase is definitely obsessed with them.

I plan and design parties all the time but this time around was different because it’s our little one’s first birthday, and also he keeps me oh so busy! But I’m so grateful for some awesome people that helped us out.

Daddy C, because you’re Chase’s other favourite person and he loves you so, so much.

Little Rose Party Company, they created the most gorgeous balloon display and dessert table setup for us.

So blessed to have Chase’s family and friends to make our event extra special!

Our program for this little party was quite simple. Guests were invited using Greenenvelope (I know, I used an online invitation program this time!). Upon arrival, guests were treated to a sign with Chase’s 1 year old stats. After a short prayer, everyone got to enjoy some food. Circus is a great place for young kids and toddlers, and so the little ones got to play and have some fun. Then, we just had our cake blowing! Chase was so excited hearing everyone sing happy birthday to him, ever since it happened once a few weeks ago, he couldn’t help but smile.
