Say Hello to Jasiel Rey Chew

She’s finally here! Born via C-section on August 16, 2022. Our precious rainbow baby - meet Jasiel Rey Chew. Jasiel is pronounced "jay-shell" and is the name of one of King David's mighty 30 warriors, and it means "strength of God". "Rey" is because my hubby and I loved the character from Star Wars and she is our little "rey" of sunshine, and her name means "wise counsellor".

Dearest Jasiel,

Welcome to our family. We are so happy to have you join our little chaotic world. You’ve got mommy Karla, daddy Clement, big brother Chase, your grandparents, cousins, Hennessy Green neighbors, Tapestry Church friends and small group, all looking forward to meeting you and cherishing you. It’s only been a bit over a week since you’ve been here, but you’re already a “rey” of sunshine in our lives. Our prayer is that you will grow up relying on and seeking God’s strength every single day, and that you may be filled with His joy and may your words and actions be filled with kindness and wisdom. We love you so, so much. We hope that our family will always be your safe place, that we always have your back. We can’t wait to bring you along to our many adventures. You’re never alone in this journey of life.
